Tiffany Lemon

Tiffany L. Lemon is a doctoral candidate studying Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Tiffany’s research focuses on structural and psychosocial factors that manufacture health inequities among marginalized populations, specifically people living with HIV. Tiffany also studies the effectiveness of interventions to support re-entry and thriving among returning citizens (people recently released from jail or prison).

Tiffany also teaches Introduction to Epidemiology, which orients learners to the discipline of Population Health Science and explores how the tools of epidemiology help elucidate the mechanisms of disease production.

In her own life, Tiffany has witnessed the power of intentional mentorship and strategic connection in advancing career goals. She is passionate about increasing opportunities and access for underrepresented minorities to engage in impactful research, often coaching and mentoring students on navigating the often unfamiliar culture of academia.

As a person of faith, Tiffany believes that the work we do can be a meaningful expression of the values we hold and the purpose we are called to live out daily. She also facilitates small groups exploring topics of faith in communities of scholars and professionals.
