Hailing from Accra, Ghana, Cyrus Buckman is pursuing an MD at Stanford School of Medicine and an MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Earlham College with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry. Inspired by medical challenges faced by his relatives in Ghana, Cyrus is committed to improving healthcare access in underserved communities worldwide. His experience includes participation in health campaigns in Ghana and Peru, where he provided free clinical services and vaccinations in rural areas. Cyrus also worked as a project coordinator for the Global Environment & Technology Foundation, where he contributed to enhancing medical supply availability and supporting clean water and sanitation projects across Africa. During his time at Stanford and Earlham, he has been actively engaged in student and community organizations, earning several awards for his positive contributions and inspirational leadership among his peers.
